Understory Records is a boutique record label based on the unceded and traditional Yintah of the Witsuwit’en Nation and Gidemt’en Clan in Smithers, British Columbia. Our mandate is to support artists in Northern or otherwise underserved communities by sharing their music with audiences across Canada and the world. Great music grows everywhere, but sometimes it takes a little foraging to find it. Think of us as your wholesome local market for 100% Northern talent.
